Getting Started - Thrive IVF

Thrive Patient Resources & Supportive Care

At Thrive IVF, your treatment plan is focused on the fertility services provided by our clinical team. We also know many patients benefit from helpful education, planning tools, and supportive resources during treatment.

This page includes both Thrive IVF patient resources and general support options that patients may choose to explore alongside care. Unless otherwise noted, supportive resources listed below are not services provided by Thrive IVF and may require outside providers or community-based support.

Important: The resources below include both Thrive IVF patient resources and general supportive options. Unless otherwise noted, supportive resources are not services provided by Thrive IVF.

Thrive IVF Patient Resources

These resources are provided to help you prepare for care, navigate treatment, and plan for important next steps with our team.

Travel & Lodging Information

Patients traveling to Thrive IVF from outside the area may benefit from staying nearby during portions of treatment. Our team can share information about local hotel options and any discounted lodging arrangements that may be available through our existing partnerships.

If you are traveling for care and need help planning your stay, please contact our office for current hotel information and recommendations.

Medication & Injection Information

If your treatment plan includes fertility medications, our team will provide guidance on how and when to take them. We also offer educational support to help patients feel more comfortable with medication preparation, storage, and injection techniques at home.

If you have questions about your medication instructions, please contact Thrive IVF so our team can help.

Visit Planning

To help us maintain a safe and focused clinical environment, children may not accompany parents to doctor visits, especially during procedures.

We encourage patients to make childcare arrangements in advance when planning appointments.

Supportive Resources to Consider
Many patients choose to explore additional forms of support alongside fertility treatment. The resources below are provided for educational purposes only. Thrive IVF does not provide these services directly unless specifically stated, but they may be helpful topics to discuss with your care team.

Acupuncture as a Complementary Option

Some patients choose to work with a licensed acupuncturist as part of their overall wellness routine during fertility treatment. Acupuncture is sometimes explored as a complementary option that may support relaxation, stress reduction, and general well-being during the fertility journey.

Because every patient’s needs and medical history are different, any complementary therapies should be discussed with your Thrive IVF care team before being added to your routine.

Nutrition & Fertility Wellness

Nutrition can play an important role in overall health while preparing for or undergoing fertility treatment. Some patients may choose to work with a registered dietitian or qualified nutrition professional outside of Thrive IVF for more personalized guidance.
Common areas of focus may include:

A qualified outside nutrition professional may help patients review eating habits, medical history, and wellness goals to create a more individualized plan.

For some patients, reaching or maintaining a healthy weight may support overall reproductive health and treatment readiness.

Balanced eating patterns may help support overall wellness, including nutrients often associated with hormone health.

Some patients choose to explore food choices that support overall health and reduce inflammatory stressors.

Emotional Wellness & Community Support

Fertility treatment can be emotionally demanding. Some patients find it helpful to seek support from a licensed mental health professional, a peer support group, or both while navigating treatment decisions, stress, and uncertainty.

Thrive IVF does not provide in-house mental health counseling or support groups through this page, but we encourage patients to explore qualified outside support when it would be helpful.

A licensed therapist, counselor, or psychologist may help patients process stress, uncertainty, grief, relationship strain, and other emotional challenges that can arise during treatment.

Support groups can offer shared experience, practical encouragement, and a sense of community for individuals and couples going through similar situations.

Outside emotional support may help patients strengthen communication, decision-making, resilience, and self-care throughout treatment.

Wellness & Lifestyle Considerations

Lifestyle habits can influence overall health during the fertility journey. This section is intended to help patients think through everyday factors that may affect wellness before and during treatment.

Patients with questions about how these factors relate to treatment should speak with their Thrive IVF care team for guidance.
