Intrauterine Insemination is a fertility treatment that uses a catheter to place a large number of washed sperm directly into the uterus. The goal of IUI is to increase the number of sperm that reach the fallopian tubes and subsequently increase the chance of fertilization. IUI provides the sperm an advantage by giving them a head start, but they still have to seek out the egg on their own.

Intrauterine Insemination is a simple, minimally invasive technique that can be combined with medications to create the optimal timing and conditions for a natural pregnancy to occur.
