Assisted Reproduction - Thrive IVF Fertility

LGBTQ+ Family Building

LGBTQ+ Family Building encompasses the diverse methods and pathways available for LGBTQ+ individuals and couples to create and grow their families. These options include surrogacy, donor insemination, and in-vitro fertilization (IVF), among others.

As legal and social landscapes continue to evolve, there are increasing resources and support systems available to help LGBTQ+ individuals navigate these family-building options. This ensures that everyone can pursue their dreams of parenthood in ways that are inclusive, affirming, and tailored to their unique needs.

At THRIVE IVF, we are dedicated to supporting same-sex couples, transgender couples, and single individuals within the LGBTQ+ community on their journey to parenthood. Utilizing the latest in assisted reproductive technology, we offer a comprehensive range of treatment options to help you achieve your family-building goals.

Our team embraces a collaborative approach to fertility care. Our physicians and staff work closely with third-party reproduction coordinators to deliver personalized care that aligns with your specific needs and aspirations.

 Same-Sex Male Couples

  • Surrogacy

 Transgender Community

  • Treatment depends on whether you have eggs or sperm to use during treatment

  • You will need to use a sperm donor and can first attempt pregnancy through Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) or move straight to IVF where we will pair the donor sperm with your egg during IVF.

 Single Males

  • Your path to fatherhood will involve an egg donor and a gestational surrogate.

Preserving Fertility

  • For medical conditions or treatments (I.e. chemo for cancer)

  • For Transitioning Individuals

The ASRM’s new definition of infertility includes the need for treatment for people who lack access to the gametes they need. This can include people who are single or in same-sex couples.

Single Parenting

At Thrive IVF, we are here to help women and men without a partner achieve their dreams of having a baby.

Single Parenting for Women

This process involves either IUI or IVF using donor sperm. Women can use any of the FDA approved sperm banks to purchase donor sperm. These samples are shipped to our laboratory where they are stored.

Single Parenting for Men

Single men can also achieve their dreams of being a parent through a gestational carrier, egg donor and use of their own sperm. Your sperm will be paired with a donor egg to create an embryo using IVF. The embryo will be implanted into a gestational surrogate’s uterus in hopes of leading to a healthy pregnancy and delivery.
