John Graves, BS, Sr. Embryologist

BS, Sr. Embryologist

John Graves is a highly experienced Senior Embryologist with more than three decades of dedication to the field of reproductive medicine. Raised in California and Oklahoma, John developed an early passion for baseball, which led him to play at Oklahoma City University while earning his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Following college, he spent two years pitching in the Texas Rangers’ Minor League system before transitioning his skills and discipline into a career in laboratory science.

He began his laboratory career in 1991 as an Andrologist and spent the next 30 years working within the same infertility program at the University of Oklahoma. During that time, he gained extensive expertise in andrology, embryology, office management, and even web design. His commitment to continuous improvement and innovation is driven by a singular goal: finding better ways to create healthier embryos and improve patient outcomes.

A Devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather

John has three children, two of whom were conceived through assisted reproduction, and two grandchildren. He and his wife have been married for 23 years and live in the country, where John enjoys honing his newly acquired tractor skills.

Outside the lab, John embraces life as the father of two daughters and a proud dog dad. He enjoys listening to 1980s music, exploring his new hobby of stained glass, and indulging his love of all things Disney. A lifelong sports fan, he especially enjoys college baseball and is known for getting misty-eyed during heartfelt commercials.

Stephanie Parker

RN, BSN – Fertility Specialist

Stephanie began her career as an OB/GYN nurse before discovering her passion for fertility nursing. With over 15 years of clinical experience in fertility and women’s health, she has developed extensive expertise working in both small and large fertility practices, primarily in Florida and Colorado.

She is certified through the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Nurse Certificate course offered by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), reflecting her strong commitment to excellence in reproductive medicine and high-quality patient care.
Stephanie is known for her ability to connect easily with patients, combining empathy and understanding with her clinical knowledge. She guides individuals and couples through their fertility journey with compassion, support, and expertise.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Service Administration from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Florida Gulf Coast University. Stephanie has also completed nursing courses through ASRM and NPG.

Patient Care Coordinator
Mayra is a dedicated medical professional with a passion for patient care and family-centered service. A proud mother of four, she brings warmth, organization, and compassion to her work each day. Since joining Dr. Patel’s team at Thrive IVF in 2018, she has served as the welcoming first point of contact, supporting patients and coordinating front desk operations.
Marissa Davis
Billing Coordinator
Marissa Davis brings over 25 years of experience in clinic and billing management and is passionate about delivering excellent patient support and financial coordination. She is dedicated to ensuring every patient feels valued and cared for. Outside the clinic, Marissa enjoys spending time with her husband, adult children, her many chihuahuas, and cheering for football.
