Does Thrive IVF accept insurance?
Thrive IVF does accept insurance. However, most insurance plans in Oklahoma and Texas do not cover fertility care, but if yours does, we can speak with you about how you may be able to submit invoices after care for reimbursement.
We are currently in the process of networking with major insurance companies. Below is the company with which we have negotiated terms and are currently active:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does my health insurance cover fertility treatments?
Insurance coverage for fertility treatments varies widely depending on your specific health plan. Some policies may cover diagnostic testing (like blood work or ultrasound), certain procedures such as IUI or IVF, while others may not include fertility treatment at all. It’s important to check with your insurer to understand exactly what services are covered.
2. What should I ask my insurance provider about fertility coverage?
Key questions include: whether fertility testing and treatments like IUI or IVF are covered, if there are limits on the number of covered cycles, what your copays and deductibles are, whether prior authorization or a referral is required, and if your preferred clinic is considered in-network.
3. Are fertility medications included in insurance coverage?
Some insurance plans may cover fertility medications either fully or partially, while others may not. It’s important to confirm whether medications are covered and whether you must use a specific pharmacy or get prior authorization for coverage.
4. Do insurance plans have limits on fertility benefits?
Yes. Many insurance plans include limits such as a maximum number of treatment cycles per year or lifetime, annual dollar caps, or specific age or eligibility criteria. These limits can affect how much your plan will pay toward fertility services.
5. How do I verify my fertility insurance benefits before treatment?
You can verify your coverage by contacting your insurance company with your policy information and asking for details on fertility care benefits. It’s also helpful to work with your clinic’s billing or financial coordinator who can assist in confirming what tests, procedures, and treatments your plan may cover.
